Those artworks are the result of reflections on emotions and the role of the body. Bodies as a fortress in times when there are no safe places.

The search for a new visual language that communicates with the viewer with clear simple symbols and forms, and at the same time with pulsating and energetic colors in synergy with graphic gestures.

These twelve works are about searching. Searching through new formats. Since Alex mainly works with commercial art and digital illustration in his professional practice, in which the image mainly plays a specific role in framing the product and/or service, and always has to convey his idea in an extremely direct and specific way, this experience has helped him to acquire visual techniques that accurately de- scribe the mood and communicate the idea, while at the same time providing a basis from which to start ways of rethinking one's own visual style.

The works you see in front of you are exempt from the functional component. They have only communication and aesthetics left. Thanks to this, emotions are transmitted to you, the audience, directly, without the buffer of the product as the main carrier of the image.

Each of the works has its own unique history and context, united by the general theme of the search. Those paintings challenge the viewer to revise his ideas about the body and emotions and move to a more personal perception, based on his own experience and associations. In this process, the exhibition becomes a platform for the exchange of thoughts and experiences between the artist and the viewer. This process allows you to better understand the relationship between art and life and your own vulnerability.
